June Newsletter

What Happened to the Market in June?

The end of the month and the financial year has come and gone. The sales market has never been hotter and stock levels have never been lower resulting in great prices being achieved.

It seems like I say the same thing every month, however, the market continues to grow bigger and bigger!

Houses are selling fast and for big money.

Winter can be the best time to sell!

A lot of sellers think winter is a bad time to sell and they wait for spring to come. Buyers don’t hibernate in winter so when stock levels are low (because sellers hold off selling till Spring) and buyer levels are high it is a sellers market meaning sellers get better prices.

If you are thinking of selling now is definitely the best time to put your property on the market.

Talk to us to find out just how much your property is worth in this buoyant market. You may well be surprised with the value in today’s market.

The Rental Market

Similar to the sales market the rental market is still very strong with plenty of tenants on the move.

We still need more rental properties to meet the demand.

If you are looking to buy an investment property please talk to us to make sure you get an accurate rental assessment. We can also give you ideas on what improvements you can make to increase the rental return.

Even if you buy through another agent Ray White Toronto can still help you with honest rental assessments and the management of the property.
