Lake Macquarie Council has released a Shared Pathways Guide, detailing 12 of the City’s best cycling tracks.
The brochure features comprehensive maps of local cycling routes to cater for the growing number of recreational cyclists who live in or visit our region.
Council’s Manager Asset Management, Glen Walker, said “Lake Macquarie has an extensive and expanding network of shared pathways providing opportunities for recreational cycling, jogging and walking.”
“This brochure details all of those and would also be a handy guide for those who are looking for an alternative way to commute to work.
“Well-maintained shared pathways are a vital part of the City’s community infrastructure and will be in an even greater way, moving forward.”
